RoboSharks Advance to the World Championship
The RoboSharks, FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics team #4641, from Palacios High School competed at the South Super Regional Robotics Competition with 71 other teams from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. The competition was held in Athens, Georgia. The team competed with some of the best teams in the World, finishing in 28th place with four wins and five loses in the qualification rounds. At the end of the competition, the RoboSharks were honored to be awarded a Wild Card position to advance to the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship in Houston, TX on April 18th – 21st. The RoboSharks would like to thank our many sponsors, Palacios ISD, and our community for the continued support of this great program. We would like to dedicate our season to the founder of PISD Robotics, Mr. Warren Morris III. We are excited to compete at the World Championship and hope to make everyone proud.
