Quisiera recordarles de la noche familiar de TAKS, titulada “Ser consciente, esta preparado” se llevara a cabo el lunes, 18 de enero. Las actividades se presentaran en la biblioteca y comenzarán con una junta breve PTO a las 5p.m. El programa del 5o grado de TAKS lectura comenzará a las 5:30 p.m. proseguidon por el de 4o grado TAKS escritura a las 6:00p.m. Las profesoras presentaran estrategias a los padres, las cuales pueden poner en práctica con su niño en casa antes de la prueba próxima de TAKS . Every 10 years, the Census Bureau counts everyone living in the U.S., to determine congressional representation and the distribution of federal funds back to communities and schools systems. The Census questionnaire will arrive in your mailbox in the next few days. We hope you will take the 10 minutes necessary to fill it out and mail it back in the enclosed envelope, no postage necessary. The information is confidential will not be shared with any individual or governmental agency. |
| Sent: March 14, 2010 Good evening, this is Carolyn Kubecka, Principal at East Side Intermediate. I wanted to remind you that Monday, March 15th is picture day. Please send $10.00 to school tomorrow morning if you would like a class picture and $15 if you would like a class picture with a pennant. Students will also be taking individual pictures. Please mark on the form what pose you would like for your child. No money is required for individual pictures. You will have an opportunity to buy individual pictures after you have previewed them. Also, I hope you have remembered to set your clocks forward last night so your child will be on time Monday morning. If you have any questions, please call the East Side at 361-972-2016. | Sent: May 23, 2010 Good evening, this is Carolyn Kubecka, the principal at East Side Intermediate. Because our students did so well on their TAKS test, we have several rewards this week. Monday the 5th grade students will be attending a movie in El Campo and permission slips are required. The 6th grade will be swimming and they will need their swim suits. The East Side 4th & 5th graders along with the 6th grade choir will be singing at the Fine Arts Building Monday night at 7:00 p.m. Your child will need to meet us on the stage at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, the 5th graders will be swimming during the day and the 4th grade students who received commended performance will swim after school at 3:45. Sent: June 15, 2010 Palacios ISD is providing free meals to all children ages 1 through 18 this summer. There are no qualifications to meet, and no need to sign up – just show up and eat. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 8:30am, and lunch is served from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Meals are served at the Central Elementary cafeteria Monday through Thursday each week. On June 28th, the summer feeding program will move to the East Side Intermediate cafeteria. All kids are welcome to come have a free meal.
